About Avenza Maps

Avenza Maps is a map app and digital map store, part of Blue Marble Geographics. You download maps (including official park and forest maps, many free) and the app shows your location on them with GPS even without WiFi or phone signal. You can record tracks, add placemarks and photos, and measure distances. There are paid plans for heavier use and a Pro version for professionals.
