Good to know
- From 2026, free entrance on these days is for US citizens and residents only. Non-US residents pay the normal entrance fee and any nonresident fee.
- Other fees still apply: timed-entry or reservation fees, camping, tours and parking.
- 22 national parks never charge an entrance fee. See the park guides.
- The 2027 list is usually published in December. We'll add it here and to the calendar.
